White Rabbit's Foot Fern, or Humata tyermanii, is a beautiful, evergreen perennial fern noted for its uniquely hairy, white rhizomes and delicate green fronds. The rhizomes creep over the surface, looking much like a rabbit's foot, lending the plant its common name. This fern's feathery, compound fronds offer a lacy, textural contrast to other plants in your setup. Native to tropical regions, the White Rabbit's Foot Fern is well-suited to terrarium or paludarium environments.
Your White Rabbit's Foot Fern comes in a clear 140x100mm cup made from PLA (corn starch), a 100% compostable material. Our unique packaging design, complete with a 4mm breathing hole, functions like a mini greenhouse, maintaining the ideal humidity and temperature for your plant. The Sticky Soil in which the fern is grown secures the plant within the packaging, preventing damage during transportation.

Grown on Sticky Soil
- Choose a location within your setup where the White Rabbit's Foot Fern can grow and spread its rhizomes and fronds.

- Gently remove the fern and the Sticky Soil from the packaging using a spoon, your fingers, or by cutting the PLA packaging for easier access.

- Position the fern and the Sticky Soil in your chosen location. The Sticky Soil can be attached to any surface—walls, glass, wood, stone—offering you total freedom in designing your setup.

- To maintain humidity and reduce maintenance, cover the Sticky Soil with moss.

- Provide the fern with indirect light and maintain high humidity to keep the plant healthy.

- Water when the top layer of the Sticky Soil begins to dry, but avoid waterlogging.

- Trim the fern as necessary to maintain your preferred shape and size.

- Remember to compost the PLA packaging after use, contributing to sustainability efforts.
