McDonald Boulder Nano Stone
WIO McDonald Boulder Nano Stone, Rich color, glacial history, and riverbed charm to your scapes-rare, naturally polished stones in a vivid spectrum of dark red, green, blue, maroon, and black, perfectly scaled for creating colorful and authentic stream bed impressions.
WIO McDonald Boulder Nano Stone is inspired by the vibrant pebbles of Lake McDonald, the largest lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. These rare stones-shaped and smoothed over millennia by glacial forces-carry the story of ancient sedimentary origins, rich in iron and other minerals, creating a stunning mix of colors: red, maroon, green, blue, black tones...
Formed through geological pressure and sculpted during the Ice Age by meltwater and moving ice, each pebble captures the essence of natural riverbeds. With their polished textures and multicolored gradients, McDonald Boulder Nano Stone offer unique opportunities to add visual depth and authenticity to small-scale aquascapes, terrariums, or biotope recreations.
Available in sizes under 10 cm, these boulders can be paired with McDonald Gravel or larger boulders for layered, dynamic scapes. While most stones are inert, some may slightly influence water chemistry—monitor in soft water systems. Pre-washed and ready to use, they bring glacial vibrancy to any nature-inspired layout.
